BEAU HURREN

Beau Hurren was first graded in 2004 after being introduced to the stunt world via his interest in dirt bikes. Performing in Arena Theatre’s “Play Dirty”, gave Beau the opportunity to demonstrate his prowess on a dirt bike whilst working with accomplished Stunt Co-ordinator, Brett Anderson. Since then, Beau has gone on to consolidate his skills, training hard in all areas of stunt work, having worked on US features Wolverine and Where The Wild Things Are. Working for the duration as one of the main stunt doubles on Where The Wild Things Are has given Beau further opportunity to extend his stunt and performance skill base, gaining considerable experience in flying work and how to “act” in a suit! Beau’s love of riding bikes and driving cars has led to him becoming one of the most promising stunt/precision drivers around. His extraordinary height (198cm) and lean archetypal “Aussie” appearance have made him a welcome addition to the film industry and led to him attaining the role as Stunt Double for “The Blob” in Wolverine.
