BRETT ANDERSON ACS

Brett first began his film industry career at Crawford Productions after completing film school in Sydney in 1978. He began with continuity, then progressed to clapper loader, focus puller, camera operator, then finally to Director of Photography where he earnt the accreditation of ACS back in 1992. He shot the well known Flying Doctor series, Zoo Family, Henderson Kids 2, Snowy and State Coroner series. He travelled to the USA in 2007 where he was DoP on the feature film, Off the Ledge.
During the 1980’s he became a stunt actor, and progressed to Safety Supervisor and finally Stunt Co-ordinator. He has worked as a Stunt Co-ordinator, Stunt Actor and Precision/Stunt Driver on innumerable TVCs such as TAC, Holden, Honda, Suzuki, Mitsubishi, etc. His other credits include features such as Bad Eggs, 3 Dollars, Macbeth, Amy and TV series such as Blue Heelers, Stingers, Scooter Secret Agent, City Homicide and Jack Irish.
He also completed his advanced riggers course in the early 90’s which has seen him create some amazing wire work for productions such as Pirate Island, Wicked Science, The Elephant Princess and TVCs such as TAC’s Slo Mo, Visa Versa and the two Reconstruction TVCs Car (2006) & Motorbike (2012).
In 2000 he also completed a multi-camera director’s course and has gone on to directing drama, film clips and corporates.
Brett’s huge range of knowledge and expertise in both the camera and stunt department puts him at the forefront of today’s film industry.
